* * *

Gregory Peter Yates is a young freelance writer from Birmingham, England, who specializes in all things bright and beautiful with his stories; or, rather, all things weird and fanciful, as the case is these days.

His main field of expertise is in role-playing products. He enjoys playing a whole range of those strange games: Vampire: the Requiem, Witchcraft, Cyberpunk 2020, Inquisitor, Runequest, Feng Shui...

...the list goes on. Generally, if it's got something new and interesting going for it, he'll give it a go. Gregory tends to get bored of the conventional games very quickly - though, it's rumoured that he occasionally plays D&D.

In private.

When nobody's looking.

Artik is a nickname, by the way. He uses it on the internets.

Say, what else does he do, when he's not writing? Well, generally, he does what he feels like. At the moment, that's spending long, rainy days walking nowhere in particular and reading graphic novels when he can get his hands on them. He likes the John Constantine series, along with Hellboy and, more recently, Garth Ennis' Preacher series - but his absolute favourite is Kid Eternity, by Grant Morrison.

In fact, that's one of the Kid Eternity characters, to the right. His name is Jerry. Gregory thinks he's really quite nifty.

Back to the writing. That's why you're here, right?

Well, Gregory has worked on a number of projects in the past. For more information on that, click on the 'previous work' link, and have a look at what he's created before. It's mostly RPG work at the moment - that's what he's used to doing - but, Thor-willing, there'll be a bit more of a range in these next few months.

Have a look. You'll love it.
